This project is an educational game specifically designed for children, focusing on developing reading and writing skills.
Game Description:
The game provides an interactive and enjoyable platform for children to enhance their reading and writing abilities through a series of activities designed to promote learning and practice of these essential skills. Children are required to read a sentence and determine if it is true or false, then they will need to rearrange the words of the sentence, and finally, they can engage in optional activities such as drawing the sentence or writing it by hand.
My Role in the Project:
As a member of the Croisant Cat Games team, I was responsible for programming all the game mechanics. My work included:
Development of Game Mechanics: I programmed the core mechanics that enable players to interact effectively with the game. This included implementing educational activities, feedback and reward systems, and managing game progression.
Integration of Educational Content: I developed the logic that seamlessly integrates educational content into the game, ensuring that reading and writing activities are interactive and engaging for children.
Optimization and Adaptability: I worked on optimizing the game to ensure smooth performance across various platforms, and adapted the mechanics to work effectively on both desktop and mobile devices.
Launch and Availability:
Steam: The game is already available on Steam, offering users an innovative and entertaining educational experience.
